Clever integration of nostalgic pieces from the old venues mix with interactive exhibits such as large format augmented reality (AR) selfie opportunities or joining the home team on The Bench for a group shot. Icons from the Red Wings’ Production Line anchor each of the entrances. The permanent exhibits are interspersed with flexible programming to augment the venue’s concert nights highlighting Detroit’s great musical heritage. In addition to the exhibits along the concourse, we designed the teams’ high-visibility pro shop. Fronted by 50-foot glass garage doors that open onto the main pedestrian arcade, the store is organized into three distinct retail experiences, selling Red Wings, Pistons and local, made-in-Detroit merchandise.
