A series of engaging and interactive exhibits leads visitors on an instructive journey through Heifer International’s mission. Audio and video programs introduce visitors to Heifer projects around the world, while many tactile and immersive exhibits explode myths, present the conditions, and offer solutions to ending poverty and hunger. Using barcode technology, visitors scan various products to learn about fair trade, while an interactive board game illustrates how micro-credit loans benefit communities. Renewable and recycled materials were used throughout the exhibits and the design maximized natural daylight in order to significantly reduce reliance on artificial lighting.
