Combining classroom functions and hands-on environments, the new Learning Laboratories for Complex Systems–a renovation of MIT’s historic Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratory–support the interactive instructional approach and goals of the Aeronautics and Astronautics program. New teaching spaces encompass the full range of engineering process skills in conception, design, implementation and operation (CDIO) of complex systems and provide flexible, open space replicating modern team environments.
