30 Dalton Street Residences
Master planning and architectural design for new luxury residential tower in Boston
Collaborating architects Cambridge Seven Associates and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners teamed with the Pritzker Realty Group to design 30 Dalton. This new 26-story residential tower located near the Christian Science Center Plaza in Boston features 218 luxury rental units, below-grade parking, and a ground-floor retail space facing Belvidere Street. The building’s form is prismatic, with a shallow curve facing Belvidere Street that is reminiscent of its taller neighbor, One Dalton, a 61-story high-rise also designed by C7A and PCF&P. Glass and pewter-colored metal serve as the primary building materials for 30 Dalton and are used in a variety of patterns along the north, south, and west facades. The building is capped with terraces on the north and south faces overlooking the city, while the lobby faces a new park on Dalton Street that is being constructed with the project.
