Flexible Dining and Arts Program
Gordon School Expansion and Renovation
School renovation and expansion to create flexible dining and performing arts spaces
The Gordon School is a coeducational private school that serves a diverse student body from pre-school age through the eighth grade. Founded in 1910, the Gordon School is known for its rich multicultural curriculum, which highlights and supports academics, arts, music, and athletics. C7A worked closely with stakeholders to create a flexible and creative solution for performing arts, dining and after school programming. The new performing arts center, which includes a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, provides the theater program with moveable staging, enabling students to experiment with the full range of staging traditions. The theater program also benefits from improved costume and set design areas, pre-show warm-up space, and a backstage area with proximity to the art and music wing.
