An Architectural Landmark Rises in Boston
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, One Dalton Street
Master planning and architectural design for new hotel and residential high-rise in Boston
Collaborating architects Cambridge Seven Associates and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners are working with real estate developer Carpenter & Company to design the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, One Dalton, Boston, a new 61-story high-rise tower in Boston's Back Bay. The building's gently curved triangular form is derived from the perimeter street pattern. Designed to complement the neighboring Christian Science Church Plaza, the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, One Dalton, Boston will feature a 215-key Four Seasons Hotel on its lower levels with 184 luxury condominium units above. A ground floor café along Belvidere Street will spill out onto the sidewalk to enliven the street edge, while two lobbies, one for the hotel and one for the residences, have their primary entries on Dalton Street, away from the primary traffic of Belvidere and facing a new urban park that is being constructed with the new building.
